Women protect your home and loved ones from negative thoughts, ill wishes, negative energies and psychic attacks.

I created this Thurisaz Hex sign for just this purpose. I drew 6 Thurisaz runes on a piece of cardboard. One Thurisaz rune facing in each of the 6 directions and all connected. North, south, east, west, up and below.

When you hang it in your home, it will protect your home from negativity from the 6 positions.

Make your own or print out the one at the bottom of this page. Make identical copies (copy machine). Then place one Thurisaz Hex sign on the farthest (outward) northern wall; one Thurisaz Hex sign on the farthest southern wall; eastern wall; and western wall. Not on interior walls.

Place one on highest ceiling (attic?) one on the lowest floor (basement?). You want the walls in your home protected as far out as you can go.

Place them so that the Thurisaz Hex sign is facing outward, away from the house. You can tape or tack them behind pictures or drapes that are already hanging, if you do not want others to see them.

THURISAZ HEX SIGN

The Thurisaz Hexsign is a Rune of Protection . The rune Thurisaz is shaped like a thorn. Nature uses thorns for protection. Odin placed thorns around the Valkyrie Brunhild to protect her while she slept (sleeping beauty story).

You will be literally placing Rings of Protective Thorns, facing in the six directions, around your home.

They will not only keep out all unwanted negative vibrations and energies, but also unwanted negative people. The longer the Thurisaz Hexsign stays on the walls the stronger the protection gets.

HEX SIGNS

Our ancestors painted hexsigns on their barns and over the doors of their homes.

I live in Pennsylvania Dutch country and I can still see barns with hexsigns on them. It is interesting that even the old abandoned barns, that still have hexsigns on them are standing tall and straight. The old barns that have no hexsigns on them (you can see where they have been removed) are falling apart.

Hexsigns are symbols and all symbols are keys to the creative energies of the universe within the Quantum Ocean (Mind of God).

Very sensitive people can place their hands or stand in front of a Hexsign and feel the energies flowing out of them.

The best way to study the runes is to concentrate upon their energies, not on the words written about them in a book.

RUNES ARE UNIVERSAL CREATIVE ENERGIES

Runes were never meant to be written nor for divination. They are Universal Creative Energies. They are keys you can use to open the doors to the Quantum Ocean (Mind of God). You can attract health, wealth, love and protection into your life now.

Where ever you place a rune, the runic energies from the Quantum Ocean will flow outward.

Ther Universe, the Cosmic All, The Mind of God, the Quantum Ocean, the Well of Mimir are all synonymous with the Primal Energy Field that surrounds and makes up our physical reality.

We are all energy beings. All is energy. We can learn how to attract certain runic energies to better ourselves, now.

The Quantum Ocean (Mind of God) is where everything that ever was, is and will ever be exists. Whether we see, feel, hear, smell or even know what they are. There is no time in the Quantum Ocean (Mind of God). Only the NOW.

The gods/goddesses of our ancestors still exist in the Quantum Ocean. All the runes exist there also. Each rune symbol on the physical plane, is a symbolic key, door, resonant frequency to an exact field of energy within the Quantum Ocean.

Rune Thurisaz connects to a runic energy field in the Quantum Ocean and radiates protection outward. The Thurisaz Hexsign attracts this energy and protects your home.

When Odin, the All-Father hung for 9 icy days and 9 icy nights on the Tree of Ygdrassil, he finally saw into the Quantum Ocean (Mind of God). He then took out the runes, which have always existed and will always exist. He rediscovered them.

MOTHERS PROTECTION FROM WHAT?

Thoughts are things. They are energies. You and your children are being constantly bombarded with negative thoughts (psychic attacks, envy, jealousy) from others, the TV and the media.

Outside power lines, cell towers, TV transmissions all emit dangerous negative vibrations (energies). The air is full of these harmful energies.

We are energy beings and these negative energies interfere with our aura (energy field). This causes illness and mental problems.

Rune Shamanism

Rune - Shamanism
Part 1

Shamanism has been with us for a very long time. The Native Americans have Shamans; the Aborigines of Australia down under have Shamans; there are Tibetan Shamans, Eskimo Shamans; Lapp Shamans, etc.

They are all still practicing today. The question you must ask yourself now is this, what do you, a 21st Century, Western man/woman, living in a city, have in common with these practicing Shamans, or even the Shamans of the past?

The Shamans of old were known to live off by themselves "separate" and apart from the group or tribe. This component, I believe is just as important today as it was in the past. These have become very difficult times. And it is said, "When mass man rules, wise man hides." I believe that Shamans always knew that a major component of raising ones level of spirituality and consiousness was to live separate and apart from the "masses." To get oneself quiet from the everyday hustle and bustle.

For myself, I have very little in common with them, except that I do live a quiet life with my family, somewhat cloistered away. And I enjoy reading and studying about Shamans. But I would not and do not practice their Shamanic methods or techniques.

Why? The only constant in the whole Universe is change. Everything is doing either one of two things, it is changing becoming more evolved or devolved.

To evolve means to move ahead, along the path, towards a higher consciousness and individualization. To devolve means to move back on the path, of becoming less conscious and melding once again with the "mass minded."

Although the Shamans are mostly individuals they are using tools that belong to an age that is from the past. This Age is called the Age of Pisces.

We as a race and even our whole Solar System is moving forward into the Age of Aquarius. This is not just a play on words. Our Solar System, which rotates around a galactic Sun, is in a different space in the Galaxy, than it has been before.

Modern day Shamans need to stay ahead with these new energies. This new place in space will produce new energy, new ideas, new structures and new forms.

To be a 21st Century Rune Shaman, you must embrace these energies, ideas and structures. And let go of the old Shamanic Methodologies.

We have just started this 2000 year trip through this part of the Galaxy. We already have three great ideas and structures from this 'Age of Aquarius.' We have the Internet (for information), Radionics (for a power source), and the Laws of Quantum Physics for methodology and working principles.

The modern day Shaman needs to use these tools and get rid of the bones, animal skins, painted faces, chants and rants. They worked well for the old Shaman, the tribal Shamans who had a direct Resonant Frequency link to these tools and their own people.

But, you and I have grown out of that language. We do not need to practice their Shamanic Rituals and build a Resonant Frequency with them.

Danger!: The danger in practicing tribal Shamanic Rituals is that the Resonant Frequencies you build will actually connect the energies of that Shaman with you.

Do you really want the energy, mindset and motives of a Native American, Lapp, or Aboriginie Shaman in your Aura? Do you want them squatting on your floor performing their incantations? Do you want their spirit animals racing around your living room? Do you want them inside you?

I don't . They belong to the past and to small tribal groups of people, of which I do not belong. We have outgrown them and must move on.

I am surprised to see so many sites and books on the net discussing Shamanism and how to practice it. Where are the sites and books that tell of the downsides and dangers of obsession and possession by these powerful shamans?

Before I get into the "How to", the practice of Rune Shamanism for the 21st Century Asatru Pagan, let us look at what tribal Shamans do.

The Norse Shamanism was called Seider and it was mostly practiced by women called the Volver. They were also called Seid Women, wise women. They often went into trances, calling upon the spirits and Gods of other worlds. They revered and derived much of their power from horse's, particularly phallic symbols and cats. The term "Night Mare," comes from this practice.The Seid Women would astral travel through peoples dreams on a horse or "Mare."

That was all well an good. But is it for you? Trances, Astral travel, and opening yourself up to other world spirits can be dangerous.

Ancient and modern day Shamans worked the weather, affected people's minds, went on spirit journeys, causes storms at sea, shape-changed, wore bear-skin robes, went into trances and created totem animals.

Why would you a 21st Century Asatru Pagan want to do any of the above?

The Age of Aquarius is the indiviual way. Once we have thousands of Asatru Pagans taking care of themselves (individually) and their families we will have a better society made up of healthy, happy, protective family groups.

Shaman means 'One who Knows'. The key words of the Age of Aquarius is "I know."

Modern 21st Century Rune Shamans will know how to use Runes, Mental Radionics, Laws of Quantum Physics to help themselves and their families.

And they can learn to do it from the peace and safety of thier own homes. This is only the introductory article on Rune Shamanism. The "How To," will follow.
